Jo Fischer, Heliumcowboy Artspace: Stadtkinder!

It is no secret I am a big fan of Jo Fischer (web: jofischer.com) and Heliumcowboy Artspace (web: heliumcowboy.com). As Jo Fischer primarily works as a photographer (with an extreme tendency to nomadism), Jörg Heikhaus is the guy who takes care Jo doesn't get lost on one of his rough trips.

Jörg is running his gallery Helimcowboy in Hamburg for almost a decade and works with some of the biggest talents of our times. He and his team has been curating projects and exhibitions outside of the Heliumcowboy Artspace for years — in art hotspots like Barcelona, Miami, Basel or New York. Some still may remember the Volkswagen "Project Fox" event in Kopenhagen — Jörg has been one of the masterminds behind this gorgeous event.

For his latest project "Stadtkinder!" — which will be documented with 3D photos taken with Nintendo 3DS — Jo Fischer is going to tour with an exhibition in Hamburg, Munich and Berlin. In all three cities Facebook friends (FB: Jo Fischer Photographer, FB: Helimcowboy Artspace) will accompany him on his wanderings. The ensuing exhibitions present next to Fischer's classical large format photographs also the picture documentation of his companions.

"Stadtkinder!" will be displayed from 6th of October at Cc:projects in Berlin, from 7th of October in Hamburg at Heliumcowboy Artspace and from 18th of October in Munich at Kirsch & Co..

Nintendo supports the exhibitions. Make sure you'll be there.
